SJF Sponsorship program:? For Young Workers (18 – 35 years).? ? In addition to the subsidies provided to four young workers, the project is open to all PSAC members, who are able to cover their own expenses (see application for details). ? PSAC Social Justice Fund invites your members to participate in the next “Education In Action” project in Guatemala for 2 weeks in spring 2019. ?

It is now official, the PSAC Young Workers Committee for Fredericton and Surroundings is now up and running!? They had their first meeting on April 17th, 2018 and the PSAC Atlantic REVP, Colleen Coffey chaired their first election. The elected officers are:

Young workers across Canada are turning controversy into opportunity by donating free Loblaw gift cards to charity. Loblaw recently admitted to fixing the price of bread at stores across the country for more than a decade, and the company announced it would offer $25 gift cards to all customers as an apology. PSAC’s Regional Young Worker Committees are shifting the price-fixing scandal into a way to help Canadians in need.
